I completely agree with you that we all have the power to control our mind and direct our energy to what we want to experience in our lives. And through this we can enjoy more riches in whatever form we allow. So I'm questioning the first line in your prayer, "Oh Divine Presence I ask not for more riches..." I don't see anything wrong with asking for more riches. (Of course, this is my interpretation of what that first line is implying.) Why can't we ask for both - riches and wisdom? Diane.
