Once you have your blog up you will want to look at activating plugins on your Wordpress blog. Plug ins provide your blog with additional functionality like the ability to add videos/audio, or the ability to give people extra options like subscribing to your comments. All of these things have to be added. Wordpress have a huge plugins database and this video shows you how to access it.
